These are Our Rules.

Hello all.

As you may know, I attend the glorious Mississippi State University. At the beginning of my sophomore year, I agreed to live with two girls, Cat Wilson & Erin Weaver. Little did I know what I was getting myself into...

So far, this year has been filled with immense entertainment & occasional bullying (I am the victim, always). However, despite our transgressions, we have chosen to overcome our failings & be awesome instead. Here are some tips on how to enhance your roomate experience:

1. Have a dog. Preferably one who enjoys sitting on people's faces & wears nice sweaters.
2. Form clubs. These clubs may come in a variety of forms. For instance, Cat & Erin formed a "Gossip Girl Club" because they watched all of the episodes together without me. Erin & I formed the "Adventures in Odyssey Club" because we both immensely enjoyed the radio show as a child. (Cat attempted to join this club.. she was heard yelling, "PADFOOT I AM TRYING TO LISTEN TO ADVENTURES IN ODYSSEY" and then later slammed open the door when the Adventures & Odyssey club was meeting, in jealous rage... ) So I am not saying that the clubs will not create conflict, but the conflict will be beautiful. It may be helpful to instill a "No talking about clubs outside of the house" rule to ensure that non-club members do not feel degraded or belittled in public.
3. Celebrate Achievements. We have a board in our foryer on which we display our achievements. Cat's most prominent awards are her capabilities & knowledge of draino, as well as her ability to prepare a turkey. Erin received an award for almost learning the song "Can't Hold Us" my Macklemore to a tee, after much practicing. I just received an award for making this blog. It's good to feel loved & known.
4. Make Pancakes. On Hump Day (Wednesday), the struggle is real. Thus, we make pancakes on Wednesdays. Now the struggle is not real.
5. Celebrate Holidays. Decorations! Costumes! Every holiday is important. Don't discredit anything marked on your calendar, including Columbus Day.

This is all you need to know for now. If you need any life advice, you know where to find me.
